The aim in creating a communication strategy for Oscar Pinks’ new high street salon was to go beyond a mere visual identity.

  • Since the tools of Oscar Pinks’ trade are his scissors, these were chosen as the starting point for all visuals. Scissor cuts in paper were used to make all the idiosyncratic interior and window graphics, creating a unique visual language for the entire identity.

  • The finished project also included a bespoke logotype, fabric designs and a typographic system for all corporate communications.
